About Mary Beth

I am fascinated by changing patterns and colored threads. I sew garments and am teaching myself to machine knit. Since selling the building that housed my workrooms, The Stitchery, I'm searching for a place to set up the knitting machines again. There must be room here somewhere!

  1. Thanks for saying that Gigi. I see where the design needs to be adjusted to prevent pulling the fabric. It just jumps out at me! So, new pocket tomorrow…deeper and altered stitch density.

  2. Yes, slightly deeper would be better, but that hem shape/depth is perfect. It should be a real keeper once you get that embroidery right. DH will be clamoring for more! I hope you won’t have created a monster.

  3. It’s THE fabric!! So, what was it like to sew with? Will DH appreciate the feel (I’m feeling in now in my mind!).

Oh yes, and really helpful thinking process re the pockets:-)

  4. Hi Nina, I’m glad you’ve dropped by to see our beautiful fabric getting sewn up. I do appreciate it very much: even though the stripes are a challenge, they are also helpful in getting things perfectly lined up. It is a tiny bit stretchy but nothing disasterous. Thanks again for the chance to pet this wonderful fabric! The recipient? I’ll let you know what he says about it. Guys can be tricky that way, ya know?
