Summertime...and the living is easy

I’ve had a hammock with me since my time in Belize in 1974 but the last few years I haven’t hung it for whatever reason. It’s heaven. Here’s the view

Soooo Relaxing

To Just Let The Trees Speak

Cares Forgotten

I’ve potted up the herbs today

Fresh Herbs

Genovese Basil

Spicy Globe Basil

Surround an Ancient Thyme

Which Continues To Flower Each Year In Spit of My Neglect

Aromatico A Costa Rosa Parsley

Volunteer Catnip, Kitty's Favorite 🙂

The Remaining Black River Birch (All Trimmed Up)

Precious Nestlings in the Birch: 4 Baby Robins

It’s so great to see David Lee actually sleeping in the hammock! I don’t think he’s ever been able to in the past. Ahhhhhh.

About Mary Beth

I am fascinated by changing patterns and colored threads. I sew garments and am teaching myself to machine knit. Since selling the building that housed my workrooms, The Stitchery, I'm searching for a place to set up the knitting machines again. There must be room here somewhere!

  1. Mary Beth, my woven hammock was purchased in 1971 when I was in Nicaragua, maybe at the market Leon. Mine’s white, with decorative sides. I wonder where it’s stashed…hmmm. Thanks for the reminder. Looks like you have beautiful weather there!

  2. OMGosh Mary Beth….I am relaxed and happy just looking at these beautiful photos..thanks for sharing 🙂
