About Mary Beth

I am fascinated by changing patterns and colored threads. I sew garments and am teaching myself to machine knit. Since selling the building that housed my workrooms, The Stitchery, I'm searching for a place to set up the knitting machines again. There must be room here somewhere!

  1. This whole google reader thing has been interesting because I’m so low tech that I just use my blogger dashboard. I’m glad you’ve found another option that wors for you.

  2. I have no idea what this is about. In fact i came to the website myself, not the email link because I thought it was spam. Anyway, i get your updates because I clicked on ‘notify me of follow-up comments by email’ and the one that allows emails for new blog posts. It has nothing to do with Google. So I am confused by this. I don’t need to follow by anything other than what i have done. Did you know you can also have your new posts show up on Facebook? xo

    • Google Reader is shutting down and I’d like those that subscribe through it to continue to subscribe through Bloglovin’. You subscribe through WordPress and email so Google Reader’s shutdown won’t affect you at all. So glad to have you as a reader!

  3. I must admit that I don’t understand what it’s all about. I read my blogs with blogger dasboard too. Does it mean that this will no longer be possible ?

  4. Hi Mary Beth, I’m very confused. Is WordPress now linked to bloglovin, and have I signed up correctly? I suppose I will find out! Anyway good luck with your new home, I hope it works better for you than the last. Regards Trish

    • Trish: I guess I’ve confused a lot of my loyal commentators. Google Reader is shutting down and I’d like all the folks who subscribe to this blog using that service so subscribe via Bloglovin’. So far not many have changed their subscriptions 😦 You seem to be fine if you’re not using Google Reader to get notifications of new posts here.
