I understand the use of computer technology in fabrics used in warfare or exploration. The fabric can measure heart rate, the presence of bleeding or the degree of pressure being put upon the fabric. Flash Dance? This one is tagged as a costume for the performing arts. I’d think it could also be used in ergonomic design, medical diagnosis, specialty garment design

Ummm . . . . well, this is a tough one. Not many of those things are attractive. I see a few ideas that could be useful, but then again, I haven’t come up with anything better, now have I?
Maybe some good will come of it yet…in the meantime…
I sincerely beleive that the next wave of garment design innovation will come about due to advances in technology of textile. We keep on spinning our wheels, doing vintage inspired and retro design. Think about how spandex in both knit and woven has changed to shape of fashion in the last 10-15 years. That’s the latest, with some advance in microdenier fiber. We are about due for a change, wouldn’t you say?
